Default Moved The Sewing Room Again...

Well we sold the farm a year ago and bought this 130 year old farmette, went from 2500 square feet down to 1500 sq. feet. Set up the sewing room in the small bedroom downstairs. Smaller than my old sewing room but functional. Then 2 of our children announced that we were going to be grandparents again, one in April the other in September. I am blessed to be able to care for the grands while their parents work, one night shift the others day shift. Needed to create a baby room downstairs, so we moved the sewing room upstairs. Here it is!

Please tell me it's only this neat because you just moved everything in! I'm feeling so inadequate right now because mine will never look so good. I just love the old ironing board shelf and how organized you are.

Thanks Pam, the "move" definitely helped. I'm a container junkie, it was a good opportunity to clean out and rehome old fabrics and whatnots to my DDIL who just started quilting.

Thanks Coventry, I think moving sewing rooms around is a lot like buying shoes. You have to use them a bit to see if they feel right!

God bless you for being such a good mom and grandmom. So glad you have a room to call your own. It's really homey and I love your organization, plus the great old ironing board display. That really gives the room a lot of personality. You are so right about sewing rooms being like new shoes. I'll have to remember that. I keep trying on new "shoes" !
