Default What is your opinion of the quality of Connecting Threads fabric?

I received Connecting Threads latest catalog today and noticed some fabric that I liked. The price was only $5.97 a yard. I thought of ordering the charm pack to note the quality, then I remembered the Quilting Board and thought some of you might have shopped at Connecting Threads. If so, would you describe your experience with the fabric.

I have purchased some and love it. Good quality and the charm packs were cut correctly. Love the large spools of thread also.

I buy a lot of CT fabric and precuts. I haven't had a problem with any of it. The kits are generous with fabric too. Someone said the fabric faded fast but I haven't noticed that in many of the quilts and throws I have that have been washed many times. I think the batiks are wonderful. I haven't had even the deepest colors bleed.

I've had mixed experiences with their fabrics, some excellent, some poor, but the thread has always been great.

For the most part I have been pleased with the fabric that I have purchased from them. It is not as nice as some that I have bought at the LQS but at half the cost or less (when it is in clearance) , I can deal with that!! I also use their thread on my Midarm Quilter.

I bought some fabric from the "Rest in Pieces" line. It felt a little heavier than some of the LQS fabrics I have bought. It ironed up nicely, cut well with minimal fraying (although I did starch the crap out of it, was cutting on bias) It pieced well and quilted well. I was very happy with the quality.

I like and use CT's fabric and Thread. I haven't had any issue at all yet. I think they have great customer service. And I always get my order fast and I never go with the fast shipping.

I love their fabric and thread. I made a rag quilt out of CT fabric and I've washed it at least 3 times and it is still looking new. It was nice fabric to cut and sew. Quick delivery and free shipping over $50 so I plan my orders with that in mind.
