I, too, loved to play for hours with my paper dolls. Thanks for the link.

Speaking of memories and the Sears catalog. We had a basement that wasn't finished except for one bedroom. My Mom drew a chalk line for each of us on the cement wall (I had two sisters at the time) for us to glue pictures we had cut out of the toys we wanted for Christmas. Our glue was water and flour. I know that probably dates me but oh, the memories! A simpler time for sure.

My youngest DGD has been asking about paper dolls. Thanks for sharing. Am sending it to her. They have a color printer. She'll love it. I sent her a small sewing kit since she's been taking up sewing things together that have torn and mom doesn't sew. She'll be 7 this April. Am so proud of my 4 DGDs they are getting interested in different needlework. A very happy GMa!!!

We used to get the paper dolls from I think McCalls magazine. Hours of fun. I had many conversations with all of them. Now I also went to the Simplicity site, I want to just start making clothes now. I always made things for my kids when they were smaller and I have sewn many bridesmaid dresses. I think I will get back to this.

Thank you for sharing the link. I just had to save all those adorable girls to share with my grand daughter.

Thanks for the post, Pollytink! I loved playing with paper dolls when I was a kid and kept them. But when my husband moved some of my boxes, I lost them and haven't found them yet. I've moved to Iowa and hope I find them when the attic gets cleaned out.

She has some free paper dolls you can download and they are gorgeous! They look familiar but can't remember if or where I've seen them before. I LOVE paper dolls.

From there went to the Simplicity site and oh boy! Have to go back and look some more...I haven't sewn clothes for a long time and there's so much stuff there. Patti Reed has some scrumptious patterns there!
Thank you so much for the weblink. I have a granddaughter that will love these!
