This is a wonderful and thoughtful gift to your children. I have done this from my mother-in-laws clothes and only wish I had my own fathers clothes to be able to have done something like this.

I love the pinwheels and all the fabrics, how very sweet to share your husbands shirts with the family. I am so terribly sorry for your loss, I hope you find peace in your memories together. And I hope you smile with every block you make fondly remembering when your husband wore each shirt. My dear husband lives in t-shirts and denim shirts which would make a not so cute quilt.

My sympathies to you in the loss of your DH. That is a wonderful & thoughtful thing to do. I am sure they will be cherished for many years to come & will give you some comfort knowing that his memory will live on in their lives.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Wish I had kept my dad's shirts and made quilts. Never thought of it back then.
