Wow....really lovely blocks. Looks like you are hand piecing, but that maybe the only way to make this quilt. You might have guessed I do not have a clue Keep up the good work.

Those blocks are very pretty. I have not tried one yet, but my grandmother had some. They are so pretty. I would like to try one sometime.

The hexagon's that I am using, measure's 3" across the narrow side. The block itself turns out to measure 16 1/2" across. So you can see the blocks are pretty big. I don't think I could ever make one as small as you have done!! I am sewing them together on the sewing machine, but my Mother is sewing her's together by hand. Just making these two blocks I am hooked on this pattern. I will keep you posted as I make more. Thank you again for you comments.

I just started one of these also! I'm handpiecing mine so I have something to do while we are in the car going to Disney. I'll have to post pics of what I've got so far. It might turn out to be a wall hanging because it's taking so long. Mine are 1.5" wide LOL

Those are very petty and they do look to fit well together. How are you pressing the seams at the intersections?
