The only quilt I have ever made out of batiks. I just do not like them. Fortunately, my daughter likes it.

I'm really not fond of the "quick" jelly roll quilts that seem to be all the rage lately.

I'm probably the only quilter who doesn't really like scrappy quilts (when making quilts myself). They're just not my personal style. I prefer the fabric colors to be coordinated. Tried doing it using just values and not looking at colors and I couldn't get into it.

I think they're beautiful when others do them though.

My absolutely least favorite quilts are Contemporary, Photo and Art quilts. I will never make them, I am a person who prefers the old patterns.

Well, Rose Marie, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder! One of the prettiest quilts I have ever seen was a tumbling blocks with floral vines along 2 sides and a cat sitting in the corner. This quilt was made in jewel tones.

WOW!!!! That is really 3D. I like it, but it is drab, not that drab is a bad thing. I like it. I don't like the Sun bonnet quilts, I just don't like the look, too much work and I just think they are creepy.

I absolutely hate sunbonnet sue and baskets.....I don't care how cute they are, they aren't cute to me.....I really don't know why either....I guess I like the more modern patterns....

Lori, why don't you get your quilt out the next time you have a family reunion. You might be surprised at how many people might like that quilt. (Then you will have to draw names to find a winner. LOL)

I don't care for baskets nor those modern quilts that have so many large prints you can't find the pattern, (turning 20 and such). I don't like the jelly roll race either, at least not most of them I've seen.

The quilt pattern I dislike the most is Drunkard's Path. Just something about it that makes me feel uncomfortable.

Second on my list are the Twister quilts.

Isn't it great we have so many patterns that we can all find ones we love!
