Beautiful "samples" being shown, love a bunch of them. I'm thinking with all the colors being shown, Dabbler has been very easy on me. She wanted a red and white quilt so I just had to do a pattern and that was easy for me. Made a quilt for a lady and she loved it so just sort of duplicated it for dabbler. I still have to get it on the long arm and get it quilted, then it will be ready for me to hand bind the binding then tada!!!!done!! A ways to go....have to get it quilted first

Just checking in, I havent worked on my project in awhile I spent the earlier part of this week in hospital due to severe asthma attack, sigh.....am still trying to get through a couple hours of sleep at a time, am very foggy most times figured it would be better not to monkey around with precision cuts/piecing when lacking oxygen to brain

Thank you LJ I am camped out in the house, even turned up heat. I keep spiking a fever doctor said it was some flu like thingy and it should go away soon enough. The good note, I am now a smoke free home. I was amazed at how easy it is to quit smoking when you cant breathe I havent had a cig since sunday at 7am. And the only craving I have to want one is the "am sitting in my smoking spot, doing things I do when I smoke" habits, So I just snack on almonds.
And there is no rush we have plenty of time. I still have my portals quilt on my frame really need to get working on it, when I can stand again without falling over! I have all the parts in, the specialty stuff, the batting, etc. Only lack the backing and threads.....am still debating on what I want to do for them. I did decide on a name for this piece
it will be dubbed "A Queens Romance" and will definitely earn it's name. I am so happy that I can do this piece for you really brings me joy!
Ok, must go clean up breathing apparatus and turn washer on........

I hope you are ok with me posting this here Yosamitesa if not I will delete it and I mean not to offend anyone just trying to help a local board member whom I have come to love.
We celebrated when Elisabrat got the call that she was accepted onto the transplant list for a new kidney. While she focuses on staying healthy until that kidney comes, we have the opportunity to help remove a little bit of the stress from her back.
After her transplant, she will have to stay in the Denver area for at least 30 days for monitoring. Since she lives nowhere near Denver, it's highly probable that she'll be staying in a hotel and getting meals from restaurants, hotel restaurants, etc. Anyone who has taken a vacation out of town knows just how expensive that can be!
We are hoping to raise enough money to fully cover the hotel costs; if we reach that goal, we'll aim higher and try to guarantee that she won't have to worry about affording healthy and healing foods while she's away from home.
Wouldn't it be nice to send her off to Denver with the knowledge that the first few months with her new kidney will be free of financial worries? - See more at: http://www.youcaring.com/medical-fun....FmeFhZLS.dpuf

Thank you for doing this Nexxus831! I went to the Mid-Atlantic quilt festival yesterday, and after thinking about what I spent just for fun, this reminded me that my friends are worth more than another UFO in my closet!
