A Valentine Swap will most likely start about the first of the year.
That will just be a simple one. It'll be 4 fat quarters and you can include a gift of candy or something.
It's not as big as SS. Just small and nothing elaborate.

Aw, man, it's not even Christmas yet, and you guys are talking Valentines day?!
I went to the dollar store close to my house today, to pick up some hooks to hang decorations on my tree, and I was surprised that their staff was taking down the christmas aisle and putting up Valentines stuff. Good God!

That being said, I'm totally in on the swap!

Shadow was talking about maybe heading up the valentines day swap during ss chat, and seemed to get a really great response to it that day. Myself I am sooooo interested in doing it. SD said "maybe the gift would be a block of our choosing in reds and pinks?" IMHO...that would be awesome to do, but not sure how everyone would be with that.

My SS was DebJ and she sent me some of the yummiest fq's. I love them so much and they will go really well with a project that I've got planned for when my hand gets better. Also, the cutest yo-yo maker, I've been afraid to try them but no excuse now. :) DebJ also sent me a subscription to a wonderful quilting magazine. Something that I didn't have the money for and was depending on SIL for her handme down mags. (after she took out the patterns tht she wanted to keep :( ) But, I can't really say a lot, SIL does share :D I was sew moved by SS DebJ's thoughtfulness to give a gift like that I started to cry. Thank you sew very much for everything SD, Teri and Moonpi. I will be joining in next year for the SS and looking forward to valentines also. Merry Christmas everyone. :-D
