Missouri Quilt Company has a youtube tutoral that I watched yesterday with this pattern..I think it was called Katies Quilt her grand daughter wanted it..it is a simple 4 patch and 16 patch with a filler of 4.5 x 8.5 with 2.5 squares sewws on corners..to make it pop out the star

Thank you all so much for your help. It is the 2000 pattern as I emailed her & she told me it was 12 or 13 year old issue & lovers links. I messaged Nanny. I have the equivalent of about 30 fat eighths left from a fat quarter bundle that I think will work well for this.

I thought this pattern looked familiar. I looked through my pattern folder and found it. It was a free hand out. The date is 2011 and the name of the pattern is Star Crossed. Very same pattern.

Default Violating copyright laws?

On Ebay, some person sells patterns torn from her magazines to the public. I wondered if that was against copyright laws. Anyone know the answer. Can't see how it would be if you gave your friend a pattern from your quilting magazine. I don't believe that making money (on Ebay) using someone else's design.
