I received a scrappy birdhouse wall hanging from Vinae today. It is so cute I love it! She said "it's just a scrappy" but I think Vinae did a great job on it.....looks like spring to me! Thank you Vinae so much. I don't have your board name to properly Thank you so I sure hope you see this post!!!

Going to post office to mail this afternoon.

I received my block yesterday from Jaba. Agorgous twister wreath in purples with pansy design. Fabric line is lovely and was featured last fall by Missouri Star Quilt. It is about 17"x 17". Perfect size. i live in a small town home, so space is very limited. I just finished a queen size quilt with same fabric. (At Longarmmer now) so it will match perfectly. Jaba you done good. Thank you ! Thank You. Pansies are one of my favorite flowers.

This really belongs on the 4th WH swap thread but I don't think anyone is reading that anymore. Ube was nice enough to send me a gorgeous panel in addition to my fabulous chicken WH. I saved it and saved it, waiting for inspiration. I received all my birthday candies in January from Barb Kibler's 2.5" candy swap and inspiration hit! Here is the finished piece which just went on our bed. DH likes it too!

Oh, J. That turned out fantastic. I am happy. How big is it, how did you piece it and how did you quilt it?
It started out as just a small panel. She grew up just fine.
    peace

Ube the finished size is 67" x 67". I made strips from my candies and alternated with black. I left the last black strips 'open' because my nana always said to leave an opening for good luck to come in. The center motif was quilted around all the elements and the rest was a meandering flower design that i made. The border is feathered. I used my midarm for the piecing and quilting. I love it - yhe picture does not do it justice.
