So....I found the perfect fabric that matched just right but it was a stripe and there was no way I was going to get it to match exactly right so I did what any crazy artist would do, I deliberately mismatched it all and I think it gives the quilt a scrappy quality and looks a bit like selvage strips...so hopefully, ZZ you are not an everything has to be symetrical, lines up person.....having said that I really like the way the top looks...Cogito-are you ready for it?
