Quiltshops .com will give you a list of a large variety of fabric shops. I have had wonderful service from Over the Rainbow, SomeWhere Sewing, Rossville, Fabric Shack, Fabric.com, Shabby Fabrics and a few others.

Also want to add to the online stores www.5bucksayard.com. Great prices and I think they mostly carry closeouts of name brand fabrics. Great if you need 6 yds for quilt backs at a low price. They only sell by the yard, no smaller cuts.

i go to the "big names" that have been mentioned, here, as well as fab who hop shops. one "big" business i've had good luck with is fabric.com--but always check the website price against amazon.com for fabric and prices. amazon purchased them several years ago, and sometimes amazon will offer discounted prices or "coupons" online that will bring the price down. i've never been disappointed with "them" at fabric.com--but only recently started comparing the prices against amazon. just sayin'...

All if the above and have had great service every time. I now do most of my fabric shopping on line. I just ordered from fabrics.com and got some great prices plus free shipping for order over $35.00.
