Here is mine that I finally got last month's part finished. I did not like the first set of fabrics I used, so I started over. It now measures 34 inches. I want to put the simple border---Jaba's #2 for this month. My question is, what size should I make it end up as when I get this simple border on?

sustraley if you put on a 4 1/2" unfinished border your top should measure 42 1/4" when you are done. You'll be the perfect size for the next round at a 6 1/2" border. Did this answer your question?

now that is a fun border! love everyones work. BRAVO! its only scary in your mind right? lol.. it truly does get easier soon you will be making finished work of all your projects and best yet.. POSTING THEM FOR US! we are gluttens for good punishment and oh boy enjoying all your work is truly awfully GOOD!
I have just today to work on a couple other projects then its next week coming up with a simple but easy border that hopefully a few of you could use. I am open to suggestions so send away at them.. sometimes its takes someone popping one in the air to have it hit hey yeah I could use that !!!! we see them but don't? so keep your eyes open and your heart posed to new ideas. On that note I would love to share with you a couple that I have found that inspire me all the time
note the beautiful end a simple border but it really makes it pop!
now this is a busier quilt but works beautifully by the breaks between the rounds with a simple strip
This is one block see how many options you have with just ONE block!!!
and last but not least see how a simple block can make one outstanding round robin type quilt? its GORGEOUS .. just look at the center and how they chose to bring it all out. amazing!

Managed to get mine stitched & pressed... the iron gave out, thank goodness for my little travel iron! I used G22 from Carol Doak's foundation factory for my pp block... I wanted to get back to the "wilder" look after the sedate friendship stars.
I did put in a spacer of an inch before & after the 4" squares so it's now at 48 ½" and ready for the next 6" border. I was going to try to make it into a rectangle, but nothing so far has seemed just the right time.
