Here it is, for what it's worth. Finished. Not perfect but I did me best.

The edges are a bit wavy and in hind sight I should have put a plain border on it as well to stabilize the pieced border, that way I think any stretch would have been discreetly lost thus leaving a stable edge to bind. I decided to bring the backing forward to the front and paid the price. Oh well, live and learn.

I have started a "Radical" quilt for a chap who is surfing mad, and has holidays in Hawaii. It's a make it up as I go along. I have found the fabrics hard to use in any other way, I am doing some machine embroidered designs to enhance things a bit. It is a bit weird I suppose. Should I be showing it? I'm not sure. I'll wait and see.

Like the surfer..love the elephant! I never thought of using the elephant in a baby blanket..I have that design just sitting here...now I know! Thanks
