    I think it is beautiful! The person receiving will be thrilled with it, and no one will ever know about a mistake. I can't see it, and I wouldn't look for it.
    It will be loved and they will be thrilled!

    Nobody knows what it's supposed to look like, and if they do, just tell them it's your improvisation based on a pattern. I call it Pattern Jazz not I Screwed Up!

    I have seen several cute baby quilts with a dog or cat or something appliqued on them. If the mistake bothers you, then do a cutout of something and put it over it or rip the quilt and fix the blocks. The "Perfectionist" in me couldn't let it stay.
