Default Help enlarging a quilt pattern

I have a twin quilt pattern that I would like to enlarge to a king. The name of the quilt is Grandpa's Heart Quilt. Made like a log cabin quilt.
The center will not change 49 inches by 49 inches. It is the rest of the quilt that I need to enlarge. The finished quilt is 84" by 103" without borders. I will need to know how much fabric is need for the enlargement also. Any help would be appreciated, including web sites.

I think a bit more info is needed. Do you have a link to the pattern, or the name of the book or magazine the pattern is in?

Also, what size finishd size do u want.?

Maybe give us the size of the top of the mattress for starters. Kng size mattresses are not all the same size. I made a quilt for DIL king size that was 78 x 80 - then the got a waterbed king size that is 72 inches wide x 76 inches long

A picture of the pattern might help you get more answers.

Don't know if this helps...but if this is a log cabin block based quilt.... example...if all the log cabin squares are the same size - and it takes 1/2 yard of 10 different fabrics to make 20 log cabin blocks - it would take 3/4 yard each to make 30 - and a full yard of each to make 40. How much fabric is required for the original squares?? Then how many additional squares do you need to make the size you want?

Do you have access to someone with EQ who might help you. Or go the old fashioned way and use graph paper and colored pencils.
