I really like the Craftsy classes and have purchased a lot of them over time. I did purchase the color class you are speaking about. It was different than any other color class I have done or book I had. I do think I got my value from it because she taught a different perspective of color hues and values. I did not do the painting process but used a deck of color paint chips I got from one of the home improvement stores. I cut it up for my examples. But, I do think to profit from the class you have to do the exercises rather than just watch the video. I have always thought creating the color pallet for a project was my hang-up.

I love Craftsy classes and have learned a lot from them. Sorry you had a bad experience.

I bought that class, too. I have only watched the first lesson and it wasn't enough to get me to go back.

I love Craftsy! I have taken, or have signed up for, 21 classes across a variety of skill sets. I watch the classes when things are slow at work, or when I want something to keep me company in studio. I think it would be freakin' fabulous if they would come out with an app for the Xbox so I could watch the classes on my tv. Yes, I know I need help. I could be addicted to everything quilting related ...

I'm sorry the class wasn't what you envisioned; however, I'm very impressed with the customer service at Craftsy. I have purchased a few classes, including some free BOM sampler quilts, and I have been happy with the quality of the teachers in those classes.

I also purchased this class - and I agree, it is an odd class. I have been sewing and quilting for over 50 years. I have watched many of their classes and with each one, I learn new and tricks. Just today I learned some great things about quilting on a home machine - making it a whole lot easier! Please don't give up on them because of this out-of-the-norm class.

Sometimes it is difficult to decide if a certain class is what we want by just reading the description. Glad they will allow you to join another one.

Which class was it, and did they change the description?
