I am glad to know I am not the only one trying to quilt in a too small space. I shall reread all the ideas.

Hide fabric stash under the bed etc. Keep as much space in your "sewing cubby" as possible by hiding the fabric discretely everywhere else. I took out the books from the two lawyers bookcases that flank my living room TV, folded my fabric on Easy Core boards. It took my Husband months to realize it was filled with wrapped fabric and not books anymore. Worked great and they are nice to look at. Of course, I just have neutrals there. No brights or kids fabrics. Browns, burgundy's, greens, blues, creams, all lightly patterned fabrics.
