Re: post #400. I sent a PM to the moderator to remove my post earlier today. I also suspected that it was my post causing the problems. My apologies. I hope it gets fixed soon.

I just got page 40 to open, but it took a few minutes to show up. Had trouble before but showed up this a.m. Weird!!!

Coopah- I love both quilts! great colors in both. The star is on my someday list...when I get some of these UFOs under control!

Hi everyone! I finally got around to finishing these baby quilts. Just a little scrappy they are, but turned out cute. I really like the whole cloths quilts. It really is about the free motion that I have been trying to perfect.

Thanks, Kristakz and QltrSue for the compliments. It helps to get applause...I have two more ready to sandwich, and both are smallish...the hot summer is coming and that will help get things finished. :-) There are boxes crying out, "Look inside," but I'm trying not to listen. When do you decide to start a new project? How many UFOs get finished before embarking on a new one?

coopah---you asked how many UFOs before you can start a new project. Well, the answer is you have to decide. Some people give them the goal of 3 or 5 finishes. Last year I was able to finish one a month and I started 3 new quilts in January and am still working on UFOs in the mean time.

You all are getting busy again.... Yeah!! UFOs finished.... Yeah!! Toot, Toot.... Clang, Clang.... the horns are tooting and the bells are clanging for Coopah and Deedum.....

Coopah, You're not the only one that gets giddy when you finish quilts.... and lovely quilts they are. I'm liking that teal and coral star bunches and the blue scrappy is super. Congrats! I've gotten 3 UFOs done so far this year.... and had to put things on hold till I get a baby quilt and a lap quilt done that I've promised. But, I'll be back on task soon.... maybe next week already. So, we won't smack you if you need to jump off the UFO train for awhile.... but come back aboard quickly... we need to keep our train full, you know.

Deedum, what can I say? Three quilts?? Are you trying to show all of us up or what? Really cute quilts.... any baby would love them. I have to say my favorite is the lime green with the stripes.... and the swirl quilting that shows up so nicely on the back..... well, super.... job well done.

What fun to see all the finishes. Wow! I am sidetracked until I get my cat quilt done but goal is to have it ready for the LA lady by 31st of March. Then I can move forward and get at least one UFO finished , I am hoping. If I could get two more done this year!!!...I would be a happy camper!
Love the free motion quilting efforts, too! Great job. I need to practice that more, too!

My post has been removed. The page is now loading correctly, at least for me. I will resize the pic and post soon.

I have finished 2 UFOs this month: a
queen size 5 minute block called flights
of fancy and a 9 patch baby quilt with a
ruffle. I started the first one in October
and spent some time working on a prairie
point border. Now on to next month's
UFOs
