I LOVE leather jackets----I would wear them. Probably out of style now that I have purchased several and then gained a FEW pounds. TOO BAD! I would wear them anyway!

I collect leather coats and jackets in different colors and make patchwork ponchos and large tote-bags from them. I always go for the soft, buttery leathers - easier on my machine!

I too make moccasins out of them ! I am a barefoot girl and moccasins are the next best thing and you can custom fit them to your foot .

I was thinking purses or wallets too. Last time I repurposed leather coats, I made "skirts" for the Roman army for the church passion play.
