This is where I found the original pattern. http://mypatchwork.wordpress.com/201...-bag-tutorial/ I have made different versions. the original is with charm squares for the top and a ruching style strip. I mostly use just the strip between top and bottom. Have made top with charms. strips (vertical) and like this one with a solid piece of fabric. What ever suits my fancy at the moment. lol. I often use a theme for the top to suit the person getting it. Have fun...

It's pretty cool. I've never had the courage to try my hand at bag making. I'd love to try but I think I'd have to learn to put in a zip first (what an admission! )
