Hello everyone!
I hope that they are all very well!

Here is "sew4nin's" post #61 .... I'm going to post it again here because she provided a great spreadsheet she found online that is easily downloaded to keep track of your number of pieces:

Here is the link for the spreadsheet. It doesn't go directly to the page with the spreadsheet. You have to select "spreadsheet" from the top menu. That will take you to a page that has 2 spreadsheets. The one on the left has just the blocks. The one on the right is the one I am using and includes the triangles. It is fun to track your progress and number of pieces.
I'm not totally sure this link will work, but if it doesn't you should be able to type "www.janiac.com" into your browser and get there that way.

Thanks to all for the comments.
d.rickman~~you have a beautiful set of blocks, keep up the good work, love seeing them.
SheriR~~kudos to you for working on 2 at the same time. I struggle with doing one. WOW
Gus~~Thanks for the link to keep count of pieces used in each block or tri, but since I don't have excel on my computer, I have never been able to open any of those links. Guess I will muddle along and figure out my own spreadsheet. Thanks again.

Hi Marcia, I live in England, UK - but we have friends who live in Grapevine TX and we have visited them several times. There is a shop called Quilter's Dream on Colleyville Blvd and I know they have a Dear Jane group run by a lovely lady called Barb. Is that anywhere near you -- I know Texas is BIG !!!! Regards, Dot.

DottyD, That is so neat that you have friends over here who quilt also. I live SE of Houston, TX. so that would be a little far for me to go. :^) Thanks for the info, though.
Nammie to 7, I will call the quilt shops and see if they know of a group.
Marcia in TX.

There are many on-line and downloadable spreadsheet apps, and most of them can read an Excel spreadsheet. So you don't need Excel to use those spreadsheets.

I just did a little research and found an app for the ipad that edits excel files. You have to deal with advertisements unless you upgrade, but the free versions works just fine for me. The app is called Docs U Free. Just do a search in the App Store and it pops right up. I was able to fill in the blocks I did with no issues. Hope this helps some of you.

I am running a bit behind this week but hope to get at least one block done today and hope to have pics up before I go on vacation with the family and a few friends tomorrow. Everyone else's blocks look great so far and I am super excited to see how the batiks will look in the end. I would be too overwhelmed to do two janes lol.

This week I made 2 blocks: H-3 and H-4. I show them the photos of both, those would be my 36 week.
As the place in my "design wall" sold out, yet I don't know if putting the blocks in another or if they begin to join them together with the sashing. For this reason, I have only my scheme with all my pictures of blocks and triangles.
I hope the pictures like you and thanks for looking! Have a nice week!
A hug to everyone!
