    Default a woven quilt - using 2.5" strips

    I put together this top lately. It was tedious, I'll admit, but the end result was worth it.

    I hope to quilt it soon.

    The original pattern is a Moda one and they designed it for jelly roll strips. When I saw it, I thought it perfect for some of my 2.5" strips in my scraps bag.

    I made this one an 8x8 layout for a queen sized quilt.

    That is just such a cheery quilt !! ANOTHER winner. I looked closely, and think i maybe spot a few of those shirt fabrics !!!

    Actually there are. Plus, a lot of shirts from the USA that I cut up (purchased at thrift stores or yard sales for $1).

    Looks lovely. I have attempted a quilt that has a woven effect but I was working with larger blocks.
