I am just completing my first corner triangle and not sure how to trim it up. Any suggestions would be welcome. Do I just copy the triangle from the book, and adding seam allowances, use that as my cutting guide?
Thanks for any and all replies.

That's how I did my corners and it worked out fine.

Hi all,I'm so glad that I found this thread! I followed in the other thread but didn't contribute so didn't know that this one had started up. I started Jane years ago and just seemed to turn to other things. I am ready to start in again when I get home. I'm in California and have been off and on since January. I should be returning home to Mo. In a couple of weeks. Jane is one of my UFO's I want to start working on again. Maybe this time I will get to finally finish.

Welcome back to the journey. Look forward to seeing the blocks that you have completed and the ones you will add, till the whole quilt is complete. At the rate I go, it should only take me another 4 years. See you soon. Safe journey back to MO

i like the idea of having the blocks in a personal qb album... the only thing is that i can't tell which blocks they are... no row and # on them.

i have been sewing away... but i have a different phone/camera and am having a hard time organizing the upload, etc. this week, i finally got some in my charts. i had to call EQ to ask how to have 3 different charts... they emailed me the instructions right away. in organizing the chart pictures, i found that i did 4 or 3 blocks in the wrong colorways... i'm redoing those now. i think i'll have a number of orphan blocks to make into something after all this is done

If the original uploaded file's name contained the block's row and #, then you can see which blocks they are by clicking on the picture. The file's name, minus it's extension, is included on the lower left. This is the case for Fraew's pictures.

For those who want everyone to be able to see the block's row and # by just viewing the album, then you can annotate your pictures before uploading them, for example:
Mac OS X: Preview -> Tools -> Annotate -> Text
MS Windows Vista, 7, 8: Paint -> Ribbon's Tools section -> A (text)
Both apps have options for changing the font, font size and color. This could possibly obscure part of a block.

Happy Easter to all that celebrate!

5 blocks done this week (I cant believe it either): E5, B10, TR1, A4, TR3. All in my album. I agree that it would be nice to see the block names in the album, but the picture must be clicked on to see the description. My photos have been causing page loading errors on the threads so until I figure that out, album it is.

Happy sewing.
