Mary, I love your cathedral window pin cushion, too -- especially the pin fabric and the scissors button!

Scrapper, I used the tutorial from moda: http://www.modabakeshop.com/2012/03/...incushion.html

I thought I already posted my pin cushion, but I don't see it on here....weird! Everyone is home tonight - easy to get distracted.

ANYWAY.........I am also the recipient of one of AuntBobb's wonderful dress form pin cushions! Won't this look so cute set up on a dowel and small pot by my sewing basket?! I love it! Thank you, Bobbie!

A little help please....I bought the pins and have some beads and now I want to try my hand at the decorative pins...but what type of glue does one use? Also it looks like everyone takes the white bead off the pins...is that correct?

Wow! Another pretty dress form pincushion. It's very nice too. Pretty colors.
Mary where do you find all those pretty notion type buttons? They are so cute.
Thanks Lynnie. Now we can all send you Bon Voyage messages. I know you are so excited.

I've been using Glossy Accents for the glue. You can find it in the Scrapbooking section. I got mine at Hobby Lobby. The floral pins I got I couldn't take the white pearl off so instead I use the Coptic markers and color them. You might be able to use the Sharpies. I even colored the ones with the crystal on the top. You can go on Youtube under making stickpins and see how other people make theirs.

Susan I got the sewing themed buttons on e-bay. You can probably get them at Micheals,JoAnns or Hobby Lobby. Scrapper, I use Aileens Tacky Glue from wal-mart. I've tried the gel-Super Glue but it seems to be to fast drying as I apply the glue with a large needle point. squeeze a little glue on a piece of cardstock the dip the needle point in it and suround the pin shaft with glue then slide up the bead into it. Also I bought blank pins on the internet from hobby lobby and some from wal mart with pearls on them. I like a 4" pin.Peg pretty dress form pin cushion.

Thank you Mary. It's pretty today. No post offices open today. I forgot about it being a holiday.

I got this wonderful pincushion from dgeskine today. It's really cute and has a lot of spools of thread. How did you know I needed yellow thread? The purple peeps look delish. Thank you so much
