So funny! Never did go to any reunion. Didn't think I'd recognize anyone anyway. STML had already set in. My excuse. Never was able to put my bra on the way the "experts" say you're suppose to. Yep, hook it in the front, swing to the back and dosie do to the front. We're in.

I attend ALL of my REUNIONS and love it. Even have been Chairman of a few. We are now 6 1 years and counting, Thank God we can still count ! We now get together every 3 months for a Dutch Treat Brunch. Have fun as life is too short to now worry about the wrinkles and cellulite !!!!!!

I went to my 50th last year. I didn't fell so bad at having picked up a bit of weight when I looked at my former classmates. Very few of them were even near the size as back in high school. At this stage in my life, take me as I am. My doctors don't seem too concerned with the weight, so why should I.

For that reason, I go as my present self. Wrinkles, fat and drab hair. They have seen the young me so let them have fun. something has to give them a laugh as most of them have gotten so prim and proper. ( I know they have not laughed as much as I have over the years because they don't have the "laugh" lines to prove it.)

I have never been really heavy, just put on a few pounds every year since I quilt nursing babies and we got a barn-cleaner. But a few years ago I heard about eating eggs for breakfast. It's supposed to make you feel less hungry. That really works. At the same time, I have been eating a lot less sugar. Sugar as in white bread, white rice, granulated sugar, white stuff, etc. I ate butter, whole milk, and as much meat as I wanted. I know I felt better, but never weighed myself. I don't have a scale. Then I noticed that my wrists seemed to be smaller. I had lost 30 pounds in those two years without thinking about it. I hadn't really been trying to lose weight.
Now my doctor says my cholesterol is high and he wants me to eat margarine and skim milk. What do you think? No way! My ratios of HDL, Triglycerides and Total Cholesterol come out to IDEAL. I'm never going back to the low fat- no fat junk.
