What a wonderful first quilt! Your corners line up so neatly and the quilt looks really square. Good job

Yes its my first quilt that Ive gotten all done. I have one other sampler ive been working on. Ive got the top finished but thats about it.
I'm not sure what type of batting I used. I would say "medium fluffy" lol

Thank you all for your kind words! It really is a relaxing and satisfying hobby

Congrats on finishing your first project. It looks great! Now you're hooked. I bet the next one will look even better as you learn with each project.

Great first quilt. I free motion stitch in the ditch, too. Much easier than with a walking foot, in my opinion. I love your attitude about learning. I rarely remove quilting stitching. Each quilt is a snapshot of what I'm capable of at the time. If I insisted on perfection, I'd still be on the first quilt instead of the 50th.
    Keep on Quilting!
