Love your quilt, especially the use of the shirts!

"I miscounted when I made them so there are two back squares in the same direction next to each other on the bottom row, but I did not realize it till it was too late to change it."

It's OK, I'm sure your Mom will think you and the quilt are just perfect! Great job.

slightlyoffQ. The more I look at it, the more I like it.. That goes for the back as well.
Very comfy looking. How smart of you to use sashing the same fabric as your main..Looks like something I might be able to do.. FMQing each block sounds doable...Dk. blue binding will look good . Nice job!

Very nice. Was the back "quilt as you go" also? I've not done that yet and am trying to understand how the top and bottom are put together. Thanks.

This is a GREAT quilt...your Mom is sure to be so pleased !!!! Bet she cries !! I'm with you...even tho i do my own wacky method of quilt as you go - it is the BEST WAY to quilt when you have just you own standard machine. You did a beautiful job with it.

It turned out beautifully and I do like this method of QAYG. The larger pieces on the back do have the effect of a whole 'nother quilt. Like it!
