I made the stars using the Jenny Doan video tutorial from Missouri Star Quilt Company on youtube. She made a quilt with all big stars and I can't quilt anything quite that big on my little machine so I made the big stars and bordered them with smaller stars. She used a layer cake in pretty prints to make her quilt and I wanted to make mine in fun solid colors.
