Love that blue fabric!

Hi Katie -

Cool blocks. What pattern is that? I also have some of that striped/star fabric and almost used it in some of my blocks.

Question to the group: use some of that same fabric or no? Either way is fine with me.

Here's my fourth set. It's "Buckeye Beauty". The pattern is simple but I wanted to showcase that white fabric with the blue stars.

Jane - The pattern for the "cool blocks" is called Squares Upon Squares from www.quilterscache.com
The striped/star fabric came from a very dear adopted Grandma Mac - her "stash" was shared with me and I wanted to share with others ;-) Of course, JoAnns is where I turned to for the blue fat quarters ;-)
I actually learned two new quilt blocks this go around (Squares Within a Square and Squares Upon Squares - Log Cabin is a tried & true block). As always, I've had fun with this swap. Thank you Mariposa AND Everyone else!!!
By the way, Mariposa I mailed my 3 sets yesterday . . . hopefully, you will receive them before this coming Friday.
