Default Tumbling blocks for my Sis

I promised to make my sister a guilt as a token of appreciation for helping me recover from surgery. She chose this " tumbling block" design. Yikes I have never done anything like that before. She chose the fabric batiks which turned out to be very helpful in piecing. No Y seams as the block top is split. I think I removed as many stitches as I put in. My DNA is all over the quilt in blood, sweat and tears! For quilting I stitched in the ditch. I actually like the pattern this created on the back. After completing this project I think I have moved up from novice to intermediate. Not so sure I will never do this again. I did watch a few videos on YouTube to assist. The pattern was also on YouTube. Thank for looking.

very nicely done... a challenging quilt indeed, even with the split block tops. not knowing the difficulty of this pattern, i made one for my first quilt, for my first grandson. i sure can empathize with the blood sweat and tears

Really pretty....i appreciate not wanting Y seams....but then there's all the matching...and you made it look "seamless".
