Maybe she wants a quilt too Joan....to funny! Yep I love my HQ, got tired of paying 200.00 and up for each quilt to be quilted.
I'm in for both groups Billi so we will trade, I'll put your name on the poppies

Janice, sent you an email this morning joining in the 2 groups. Hope you got it okay. I am excited about receiving all the F8's! I've got a small table set up for the blocks received and finished, ready to be sent. Washed my fabric today and ready to cut it up. Using mostly blues, wish I had enough to do all the same blues but I think that what I send will go together well.

I got the state flowers all packaged up and ready to send. Decided to send this fabric out for the second group so it's ready too. The 2 colors with it are the fabrics to finish the blocks and quilt with when I receive them all back.

I only have enough fabric for 32 F8s of the fabric I posted so will have to find another fabric for the other 8 blocks if we have 40 people. I might send 20 of each so Ill have enough for 2 different quilts...hmmm..maybe a trip to the fabric shop??

Beautiful Jaba,

I used an open floral fabric for Boom 11 and I am totally in love with the blocks I received. The quilt top is almost finished. Made a medallion center, set on point, added solid burgundy to square up, row of flying geese......OMG....it makes my heart sing!

Ready for Boom 13! Let's go Boom Swappers! Can't wait to start making blocks

Ive seen some with state named blocks that are normal piecing but don't remember a Missouri.
This is a great idea, ladies. I got a book awhile back from McCalls, 'Covering America' that has regular pieced blocks for each state. Yes, there is a block for Missouri. I'll post a pic.
