Hello. Did you ever get an answer or figure out how to do this? I have just purchased the Janome Artistic26dx. My dealer is new to long-arm quilters and has no idea how the software works. This is one of the questions I have - what formats of digital designs can be imported and how to accomplish that. Thanks.

I think the website urban elementz has a section that shows you how to do this, under their "helpful hints" section on the right side:
    Urban Elementz: Category: Free Stuff
I love their designs, (not affiliated, just happy with the company)

Your owners manual should say what format your machine will support.

Thanks for the design site. As for the owners manual - it's a joke, and if the local dealer is not knowledgeable (mine is NOT), then there doesn't appear to be a good source for getting answers to questions about the Artistic 26dx. All I've seen is Grace, Janome, and the dealer pointing fingers at each other. If I had it to do over again I would go with a TinLizzie Ansley 26dx - same machine but much better support and more information options.
