I used the tissue from some outdated patterns when I moved to wrap up breakables. It does not leave black on the items like newspaper does.

Neatest thing I have ever seen done with old patterns is seeing them used as wallpaper in a sewing room. They used mostly children's patterns so you could still see the shapes of the individual pieces. I think they were 'glued' using liquid starch so they were not permanent due to the texture they would show if you tried to paint over it.

What a neat idea for PP… Thanks for sharing…. I have patterns from when I sewed for my "now older DGK"…. + others...
