That's quite a bit more than a Bailey (http://www.baileyssewingcenter.com/) which has both sit down and frame, a good reputation for the machine and the service, and in the lower 48 states, a lot of time, they offer free shipping.

I just bought a floor model Tiara (6 months on the floor in a quiet shop), table included, for $4,500. The table extensions were another $432; $100 for the mat. The bobbin winder was included, but not the stitch regulator. Be sure you try the stitch regulator out. I did not like it at all, and that saved $1,000. I can't bring it home for another week until my husband gets back in town. I'm so excited!

I purchased a Tiara this spring and I love it! It was a "floor model " and included the standard table, no extension, and the bobbin winder which I think are usually included. Also included was the overlay. I could have gotten the Koala table for about $1,000 extra which was more than I cared to spend and actually it was too big to fit in my sewing area. I paid about $5000. ( I can't remember exactly and frankly don't want to remember). I did not get the stitch regulator as I really found it awkward to use and usually have little trouble with FMQ. From what I have heard, there is very little room for negotiations on this kind of thing. To me the big thing is support....do you have good communication with your dealer, do they have good repair/maintainance staff. Any machine purchase, as far as I'm concerned should be done with a good dealer so you have someone to call when you do something stupid like forget to plug the embroidery attachment into the sewing machine and wonder why it won't work. (Ask me how I know about such a thing, lol.) Enjoy your new purchase!

Did she give you a price for the set up minus the Koala cabinet? I got the Tiara (new), table, overlay, bobbin winder, stitch regulator. 3 year Gold Standard plus a box of goodies worth $100. for around $4800. I bought my own side table, the one that went with the unit was around $180. I love mine and have had no problems with it, other than completing my tops to quilt!!
