May UFO finish count: 29 finishes!!! Everyone's quilts are just beautiful and the UFO piles continue to shrink. That brings our annual total so far to 145 and we aren't even halfway through the year yet!! Wonderful job, everyone.

Carriem, thanks for the info about QAYG. I'm going to have to try that at some point. And another quilt finished already? You go girl!! I love it.... perfect for a baby quilt. I really love sewing strips together and then making quilts from them. I saw a vintage quilt that had been done that way with men's shirts.... all blue but different patterns. It was stunning.

Tlambing, that's your first mitered corners? You nailed it! Good job. I love the look!

I'm so proud of everyone's finishes. I didn't bring my last UFO up to the cabin this summer because I didn't want to bring a ton a stash and that's what it's going to take to finish it. But I'm having a hard time getting a new quilt started. I know what I want to do, brought most everything with me, but need some motivation I guess. Maybe I can get my butt up off this chair and start something today. I'll try at least. There is always so much to do when we first get up here and just looking out at the hummingbirds fighting over the feeder is about all I want to do.

Oh, my gosh. This was from the Adoration Quilts book by Rachel W.N. Brown (2006 - how's that for a UFO?!) You will never know how glad I am that this thing is done. It was the most difficult thing that I have worked on and it didn't come out as well as I had hoped, but the bottom line? IT'S DONE!

Here's another finish for me. I wanted to use a bunch of scrap fabrics that I had on hand. Unfortunately, it was a pattern from a magazine that I made a copy of and I have no idea which magazine it was from, but it's a couple of years old.

Michelleoc: Great finishes! Nativity quilt is just beautiful and a true labor of love. What a treasure to have for the holidays. And the scrappy is really neat, too. Simple shapes and well-coordinated colors end up in a terrific project! And Finished!!

Michelleoc--I agree with the others, a couple of great projects. The quilting and appliqué look like they took a long time, but worth the hard work!
