Tlambing: Great ironing station! The fabric is beautiful and I'm sure you have wonderful plans for all that storage!

I did get to quilt a bit last night finally. I was able to finish up my ironing pad/caddy. It's o so juvenile, but no one will have one like it

T: Really like your caddy. I sometimes iron my pieced work on a TV tray in front of the box. The Caddy/ironing pad would be great for all my notions and of course the pad itself. Will you share where the pattern came from?

Teresa, I, too, love the ironing station and the iron pad caddy. You are so talented and I love all the bright fabrics.

Michelle, I LOVE your quilt. How did you arrange your blocks to make them so attractive? Was there a pattern or are you just amazing at arranging colors that way? Very, very nice.

tlambing, what cute ideas for your ironing station. I love the ironing board.... is it an actual board on top of your dresser or did you cover the dresser top? And that ironing pad/caddy is adorable. That's perfect to take to classes or workshops. Super, super nice.

    Michelle--another pretty quilt.

tlambing--great projects. I friend of mine made the iron caddy/pad. She loves it.

Not sure if is the same pattern used above, but here is a link to a similar pattern:http://www.sisterscommonthread.com/caddy/

After a whole bunch of thought, ended up covering the dresser top. I kept thinking I didn't want to mess it up, but, I thought, after all, it's a "cheap" Ikea dresser it's not the end of the world. I used insulbright and a piece of quilted ironing board fabric yardage (silver reflective stuff with batting and back). Then put a piece of 100% cotton summer decor fabric over it. I think it's gonna be perfect.
