You may want to wash and dry the fabric...easier to fold/and if the fabric has been there for years it may be time to clean them.

It seems that the original poster, AnneG has never returned.

Always nice to help others out ... though nice too, to see at the least, an acknowledgement for all the ideas that are shared.

Maybe she doesn't sit in front of her computer all day like some of us?

Maybe there was an avalanche in grandma's sewing room and she's buried in there??

True on all accounts!! .. however .... most who ask for help, ideas, input, etc. ... usually have the interest, excitement, curiosity, enthusiasm, anxiety etc. to check back in to see what others have suggested. And then the common courtesy to post an acknowledgement ... even a thank you.

Especially by the third day!

Yes ... Life Happens ... and perhaps it has "happened" to this person!!

Hopefully without an avalanche!

I am jumping in without reading through all of the posts. I have been following a blog called A Quilting Life and she is blogging about sorting and cleaning out her quilting room. She has a lot of good information and lots of pictures. Here is the link if you want to take a look. http://www.aquiltinglife.com/
