Ouch. That a club we don't want to join but it does happen. I haven't cut myself but my Grand daughter did cut me during a quilting class I took her to. Just a small nick but it did make a point to the rest of the kids there to be really careful with their rotary cutters. Hope you heal quickly.

Ouch! I am so sorry to have you as a new member. You cut off way more than I did, you overachiever, you. I'm also in the Needle-through-the Finger club. Please don't follow me there, too. Now I use the Slidelock ruler. Learned the hard way, but at least I did learn. I'll say a prayer for you for the fastest healing possible. Tell hubby to trade the camera in and get you a Slidelock.

A rotary cut is serious. Please eveyone use a safety tool when cutting. There are many on the market so you can find one that works best for you. I use one with every cut I make with a rotary cutter. I will not take the chance not one time on getting cut.

It really says something about our commitment to our hobby that we worry more about getting blood on our fabric and less about cutting of 1/2 inch of finger :-)
Hope you heal soon and can get back to having fun.
