I just wanted to mention Zout too. In the past this has gotten out stains completely for me. I just found it at Walmart for about $3 (used to cost a lot more!). It has a triple-enzyme formula that is particularly good for stains of organic origin.

    Good luck!

I use Grandma's Secret Spot Remover. It works great on all organic stains, oil, blood, etc. Many quilt shops carry this product, an it is available online. Http://www.grandmassecretproducts.com

I used something called Eco-88 for dog pee stains. Its an enzyme cleaner and works great even on old stains. If other things don't work, you might try using it. But be sure to try it on some of the scraps first to make sure it doesn't take the color out.
