DustysMomma- Glad you are back. I have only been able to sneak in a half hour or so a few times a week to do quilting. Summer or at least this one, has just been crazy busy! I am thinking winter is looking pretty good for catching up.

I have been following off and on with this thread. To start, I didn't know what a "medallion quit was till I got curious a couple of months back and checked this out. I am amazed at what you ladies did. Your quilts are so beautiful. I hope that someone does this again. Someone mentioned that maybe another one would be started in the fall. I certainly hope so.
Brat, I hope you are getting better, I know that things are rough for you. Your sense of humor is so fantastic, I love it when you post.
Thanks to every body, you have certainly taught me so much.

I'm way behind with my quilts but have now finished the 3rd round on each. This will be the last one on the small kookaburra one. The Japanese one I'll lengthen for a single bed.Next round will just be top & bottom.

MamaHen, your rose medallion is simply beautiful. I really, really, like the framing border the hourglass forms when re-configured as you have it. It just does so much to emphasize the center and I just love the design and colors of it. For me, it was the favorite one of my quilt.

m-fay--I like the corner ribbons on the kookaburra one. Your border choices for the Japanese ones look great too!
