toverly--pretty block!

We've been cleaning up storm damage at my MILs all week so now sewing for me. Maybe I will have time to make 2 blocks next week...we'll see! The fabrics are cut...sometimes it seems like the choosing of fabrics takes the longest.

Thanks to everyone that gave a bit of information on quilting as you go, I will have to try it. I agree with you toverly the hards part is picking the colours to cut out for each block, I know that I have the 3 basic clours and 3-4 of each of those colours but sometimes I think I am cutting the same colour combintation over and over, but when all sewn together they look different. I have only 11 choice to make and sew.

Two great blocks to start the week! I might be able to get some sewing done tomorrow afternoon, but for sure on Tuesday. I have one block to make for my nephew's quilt, then want to get my block made for this week and next week's too.
