    Default Old/New Quilt Rack

I love to repurpose. So when my neighbor said he had an old wooden 8ft. step ladder he was getting rid of I said I wanted it. I have been looking for an old library ladder but this would do. DH sanded off the rough places, took off the back support, and put a layer of sealant allover. It is attached to the wall with a Hercules Hook so it can't be pulled over.

Great way to display your quilts and/or afghans. Friend of mine uses the herculean hooks. She had a picture that weighed 25-30#. Hung on her wall for about 8 years til she moved. Very small hole in the wall.
