Lots of great variety in the Nebraska blocks. I was able to get mine done today...

Also I included a group shot with purple background and one with the blue background.

I started this quilt back in 2000 when the book first came out. It was my first paper-piecing clasee. I did make around 12 blocks (I think). I'll have to dig them out. Maybe this thread can motivate me to finish them. Although it's so long ago, I'm sure I'd make different color/fabric choices now.

I started these blocks when it started before this one. I got 19 of them done and kinda ran out of steam and they have set since then so decided to get busy and use them put 18 of them in a quilt top and set them on point. I am pleased with how they look. Don't have any idea on how to quilt them.

Welcome indigofab! It's been a fun adventure making these blocks. Hope you find yours and show them to us. I'd love to see them.

Welcome newbee3! I know what you mean, I haven't a clue still as to how to quilt them. The most I can come up with so far is one by one, each quilt design specific to the star. Somehow I don't think my overall ramble will look good on this one. Love to see your stars on point. I bet that looks great.

    Hi
Welcome newbee3 and idigofab it will great to see your blocks, I have been busy cutting out the last 12 of my blocks now down to 7 more to go, I am hoping that I will have enough back to complete as I don't think I can get any more, and some of the colours are getting low. If I can get the next 3 cut this week, I will feel much more confident that I have enough fabric.

    Here is my Nevada.

Lyn--I like your block...reminds me a of a sunflower; my favorite flower.

Mirabelle--another pretty block for you too!

Here is mine for this week...

I don't know how much sewing I will get in this week. If I have time to go to the clubhouse I think I'll work on cutting fabrics for more blocks. It makes it so quick to get a block or two sewn up if everything is ready to go.
