Default I Must Be Getting Old

I sewed for over two hours today with my machine on the wrong setting for the seam allowance. Now, I will have to do the entire project on the same setting of 3.5 instead of 4.0. Oh well......it's beats taking all the pieces out.

I did that just last night! On my current project, I sew one area with the needle to the right and another area on the same project with the needle on the left. I forgot and stitched a right area on the left. I thought it looked a little too wide. HA! I have a stickie on my machine that tells me my right/left needle settings for 1/4" seams. I think I need to add another stickie that says CHECK YOUR SETTING!

We're not getting old, were just so artistic and creative and eager to work on our projects that sometimes we have an "ooops, forgot about that".

I discovered tonight that I am a year older than I thought. LOL. My oldest was complaining that he was about to be 25 and was now in his mid 20's. I asked him how I felt since I was going to be 45. and he was like Mom, you ARE 45. whoops.
