    Would love to see other lay outs - really love your fabric colors they set the design off so beautifully.

    In answer to MargeD....here is the one i'm working on now, with the blocks just laid out. My next one i am going to try mixing up the blocks once i cut the hour glass ... for a really scrappy look. Don't know what it will turn out like - but will find out[ATTACH=CONFIG]487751[/ATTACH]

    lovely quilt. I, too, fell in love with Jenny's tutorial but I haven't started mine yet. I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying the process.

    cut your starting squares a little over sized. Or after making your HST square them up. With the 2nd method you'll end up with a slightly smaller square when it comes time to cut it into 3rd's but that's why Jenny says to "measure yours" & take that number & divide by 3 because we all sew & cut different.
