I cut them out and did raw edge appliqué. I had found that fireworks fab. in a close out bin. I just had to have it. Turned out it was just the thing for this "fair mini". The fireworks were always my favorite part of the fair!

Thanks so much for the compliments! It was fun to do...I love letting the creative juices flow I posted a pic on my fb page, my aunt saw it and commissioned one for her guest room. I just finished putting the binding on. It's not an exact replica, she requested I incorporate the lavender and make it a bit larger.

I am hanging my head in shame! I am late. I will be mailing either tomorrow or Friday, for sure!! I will have to come up with some way of making it up to my partner for making her wait so long. This has been a crazy year. I cannot believe summer is over. It doesn't feel like it should be! DH and I are taking a little vacation for our 40th anniversary this weekend and I will not leave without mailing my mini!! I will skip next month just to make sure I get back on track time wise!! Love these swaps.
