Red face 2015 National Quilting Association Quilt Show, Within Walking Distance!

I'm so excited! According to Arkansas Business today -- The 46th Annual National Quilting Association Quilt Show will be in Little Rock, AR starting in 2015. This is the event that has been held in Columbus, OH in the past. According to the article the NQA is considering moving their headquarters to Little Rock from Columbus. Dates for the show are June 18-20, 2015 at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock. If any of you are planning on coming to the show, let me know maybe we can have a quick meet-n- greet.

Oh I am so sad . It was here in Ohio but I heard politics got going inside NQA and personalities got going. I will never afford going but wish you well. I am dropping my membership as I will never go again. I volunteered almost every day. Lots of work and sore muscles but loved it. Enjoy and volunteer all you can.

I think Arkansas is a wonderful location. The cost is probably lower and it's a state that can draw attendees from the Midwest as well as the East. I never could get to Ohio for the NQA show but Little Rock is in our path for our trip West next year.

So sorry to hear they are moving the show from Columbus. I have attended for several years. I guess I won't get to go any more. Columbus is about 2 hours from here.

I'm not happy about the move. Going to Columbus was easy from here, Arkansas not so. I will miss going. First we lost the big show in Cincinnati, now the NQS. What is this world coming to?

I agree....I enjoyed the drive to Columbus and the show. We get so few big ones here in the midwest. Oh well, at least AQS show is still hopefully, going to be in Grand Rapids MI again, thats a couple of hours drive in other direction for me.
