Another California Quilter Here

I live in Pleasant Hill. I'm an attorney here too (family law). Wow, so you're almost a local! Did you shop at the Cotton Patch when you lived here? I love that store! Everyone that works there is sooooooooo nice and helpful.

Welcome from another NorCal quilter. I live near Sacramento. I love this dreary weather as it's perfect for quilting! I'm not great by any stretch of the imagination, but I love what I am doing and it keeps me sane......
I just subscribed to your blog......I like what you are doing. It's my "type" of quilts....

Welcome from Oregon! I too lived in Fremont for years raised my family in the home I was raised in! Finally I was able to move on! I really enjoyed your blog specially the stash count! I was pleased to have my fabric color coordinated but to know how much you have and used-sooooo cute! I chuckled!

Hi! I'm just joined this board today but have been lurking for several months. Believe me, you WILL be inspired and amazed by the women and men who are active on this board. They inspired me to finish my first quilt, both with their pictures of their own projects and advice and tips they've shared with others. I love it here, and hope you do, too! 8-)

Wow, it's so great to see so many No. Californians here. Most of the other online quilters I know are from the Midwest or East Coast. Not that that's a bad thing, I was just feeling like the only CA quilter. Which I know is not the case at all.
I did and still do shop at the Cotton Patch. In fact I was there last Wednesday. With my son and grandkids in Orinda, I spend a lot of time in the East Bay. :)
The only reason I'm in San Bruno is I'm living with my 95 y/o mother. She's healthy but needs someone around a lot of the time. I'm in that middle generation, taking care of the young and the old.

Well then, we must meet!! Do you ever go to the classes there? Or the sewing days? There's one the end of each month from 1:30-10:00. You could sleepover at your son's house if you go! It would be fun. I'm trying to get PittsburgPam to sign up too - she lives in Bay Point and is a sweet lady. We went to a quilt show together once.

Meeting up would be fun. I haven't taken any of the classes there. I'll have to look at the schedule or the monthly Friday sew looks fun too. Let's see if we can arrange that. Not sure about the January 29th one, but the February 19th one might work for me. Have you been to one before?
