Very cute and a great idea!! I have a little great niece with a January 1st birthday. She will be 3 next year. This may be something fun for me to do for her. They live about 600 miles away in my hometown of Charleston, SC. Thanks for the idea!!

Love the owl on the left. Where did you find the pattern? I'd sure like to have a copy!

I have been a member of this board for years but, only lurked. I just have to add to this wonderful idea. The receivers can save them, you could collect them and make a year long quilt by holiday months.

A gift that will keep on giving. How fun to stretch their anticipation and excitement throughout the year. And yes, you are very lucky to have them all. Sounds like you are very appreciative.

They are adorable. Did you design them yourself? I did a similar idea for my Mom in assisted living. My husband made a plaque, with a 12 1/2" recessed center. I wrote "Celebrate" in a Sharpie paint pen, and put Velcro on the top and bottom of the recessed area. Each month I sent her a new wall hanging appropriate to the month, plus one for her birthday month. Many were from the Wooden Bear, but some where Nancy Halverson and others. Here is the birthday month, to give you an idea.

I love you're place mats, and what a great idea! It would work for any age, and I think kids would especially love getting a place mat for every month.
